Cocktail of the Week

Angostura Bitters (or any other bitter to get crazy)
2/3 Fresh Lemon Juice
1 ½ oz Dark Rum (NOTE: Wednesday, August 9th, is Rum Day!)
1/3 oz Grenadine
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1/3 oz simple syrup
1 oz orange juice
Pour all ingredients, except the bitters, into shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Pour into large glass, filled with ice. Add Angostura bitters, “on top.” Garnish with cocktail cherry and pineapple.
Baker’s Old Fashioned
1 Sugar Cube
1 1/2 oz Baker’s Bourbon
Place sugar cube in glass dash with bitters. Muddle sugar cube with orange curl and cherry. Fill glass 1/2 way with ice. Pour in Baker’s and stir. Garnish with orange wedge and cherry. Master the basic then start switching up the bitters to get fun new variations to this classic.
Blueberry Lavender Lemonade
Thanks to Jeptha Creed for serving these at the Concert in the Village last Friday night!
1 ½ oz Jeptha Creed Blueberry Flavored Vodka
½ oz Lavender Syrup
5 oz Lemonade
Pour the vodka, lavender syrup and lemonade into a highball glass. Stir with a bar spoon and top with ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
