NOSE: Begins soft with caramel, butterscotch, and a tiny hint of fresh mint. As it opens up, the mint develops into leather notes. PALATE: The high rye mash bill produces flavors of caramel, leather, and baking spice that slowly swirl to the back of the palate. Light to medium density. FINISH: Relatively quick and dry with a great balance of grain and oak flavors. Remarkably mellow for its ABV. OVERALL: This would be fine neat or for those that go straight for rocks. It would clearly be great for cocktails as well.
